🌈 Let all that you do be done in Love ♥️🕊 Our school values are :Thankfulness, Friendship, Compassion, Service, Endurance, Wisdom 🕊
At Chester-le-Street CE Primary school we are always looking for ways in which we can add value to our school, local and global community. In this section of our website you will find examples of events and experiences where pupils have made contributions to others.
McMillan Coffee Afternoon
In September we held a very successful coffee afternoon to raise money for MacMillan. It was such a lovely afternoon and such a joy to see so many of our parents in person. We managed to raise over £600 for this very worthy charity. Our children had a wonderful time making cakes and biscuits. Thank you so much to all our parents for their kind donations
Harvest 2021
In October we celebrated Harvest with a service at St Mary’s and St Cuthbert’s Church. We gave thanks to God for food grown on the land. Generous donations of food were given by pupils and their families. We recognise that not all are as fortunate as ourselves. We understand that some people may experience poverty in their lives. Our school therefore donated our gifts of food to the local food bank who provide the best possible emergency food to people who need it the most.
Children in Need
In November we held a fabulous Children in Need day. Children wore spotty clothes and took part in Pudsey activities raising funds for this worthwhile cause. We were very lucky to be able to welcome Pudsey to our school as part of his giant Mexican Wave.
